Data stored on your iPhone
Your first name, income, fixed expenses, purchases, challenges, and goals are stored locally on your device. MindBudget uses no user account, advertising server, or third-party analytics tool.
Widget, Shortcuts, and Apple Pay
The widget receives only a numerical summary through the app's private group. If you configure the Apple Pay automation in Shortcuts, only the amount and merchant you authorize are passed to MindBudget. The app never accesses your card number, bank account, or full Wallet history.
MindBudget Guard
Guard applies your budget rules locally and keeps purchases you place on hold on your iPhone. MindBudget does not receive browsing history or content from other apps.
Receipt scanning
Receipt scans are processed on-device with Apple technologies. MindBudget does not retain or upload the receipt image.
Premium purchases
Apple processes purchases through StoreKit. MindBudget receives only the Premium entitlement status and no payment data.
Export, deletion, and rights
Backups and CSV files are created only at your request and shared to the destination you choose. You can erase all data from Settings > Data or by deleting the app. You may also contact support regarding any email correspondence.
